Giving to the Foodbank

Anyone who would like to make a difference in the lives of others can give food at our Supermarket collections or at participating churches in St. Ives & Carbis Bay . The Town Hall is also a collection point. At the moment our only participating Supermaket is Tesco in St Ives, we are in discussion with others.

Lookout for collection points marked with the St Ives Food Bank Logo.

Schools, workplaces, activity groups can also collect food. Any group willing to collect or organise a satellite collection point will be appropriately supported by the project team.

You can volunteer your time to help at the Distribution Centre. Or you can organise a Food Bank collection event in your church or group that you are part of.

Anybody who is interested in having a collection box or a special collection event at their hobby group or work place should Contact Us 07958 390303 for an information pack. It's very easy!

The most encouraging thing about people's involvement has been their willingness to pitch in and help their neighbours in crisis by giving a tin here or a packet there, and it soon all mounts up so Thank you!

For The Food Bank to run successfully we need to receive regular contributions, whatever their size!

Financial Donations are also gratefully received to enable us to purchase fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs, margarine, bread and meat on the basis of demand.
